For the last several weeks I’ve been researching the debate on whether or not we should reopen schools around the country when summer vacation ends in August. This is an extremely complicated issue with each side, open or closed, making very compelling arguments. I decided to talk to Dr. David Epstein, an expert in children’s health working as a Pediatric ICU doctor in California, to see how seriously coronavirus was impacting children and what the effects of returning to school might be.
