James Algar, the producer-director of Disney's ""True-Life Adventures"" shorts, give us a behind-the-scenes look at how the feature-length ""Vanishing Prairie"" was filmed. The second half of the program is the Oscar-winninng first 'True-Life Adventure' Seal Island (1949). It depicts the annual migration of fur seals from Alaska to their birthplace on the Pribilof Islands. Rex Allen is the narrator.
