1968: Clarissa joins an American group of musicians. Schnüsschen is caught up in the political wave and reads Fromm, Marcuse, Adorno, Marx and Mao Tse Tung. She has given up her job as an employee, is studying sociology and works in drug counseling. She hardly sees her husband Hermann, in whom Consul Glove has unlimited trust. There is a big row and Hermann disappears to Berlin.
