Parvati and Mahadev become relieved on seeing Ganesha and Kartikey's affection for each other. Kartikey enlightens Ganesha with the knowledge of war. He brags about himself and asks the Rishis to worship him first, but the Rishis refuse to do so. Mahadev fumes at Indradev and warns him not to cross his limits. He instructs the deities and Rishis to concentrate on their duties. Mahadev assigns Ganesha and Kartikey not to let anybody disturb him while he is in meditation.
