Christmas is coming in Liverpool and the scouse guys and girls are gearing up for the festive season. The halls are decked with decorations fit for the glitz and glamour of a Scousewives Christmas. And of course there's plenty of shopping to be done. Elder of the O'Toole sisters Gill is about to turn 30. She plans to celebrate in style with a huge party, but before the girls hit the town to dance the night away, the men in Gill's life have a surprise for her. Meanwhile, Danny struggles with the embarrassment of his public romantic failure after he tried to woo Debbie with song. And Joe finally convinces Elissa to meet up with him for dinner. But just as it looks like they could be moving on from the past, Elissa heads off to Gill's party leaving Layla perfectly placed to pick up the pieces.
It's Christmas but the festive cheer is flagging for Chris and Mark, who can't agree on whether to have a baby. A near-miss disaster with a haircut for Gill doesn't help matters.
