Currie enlists Sarah Richardson and design inc. to bring family friendly appeal to a decades-old boathouse just rescued from the brink of destruction. Carte-blanche on the project means little, once siblings chime in with their own ideas for the treasured space. Being in cottage country adds the challenge of 2½ hours of nightmarish traffic each way. In the end, Currie’s Boathouse pays tribute to their family’s past while welcoming future generations.
