The New Year in the back tent is ushered in with a trip to the savory kitchen, when the three partner couples have to make delicious welcome snacks, which go perfectly with bubbles on the last evening of the year. In the secret challenge, the participants try their hand at a real New Year's classic that almost defies the law of gravity and challenges construction skills. And then masterpieces appear on the plates when the task is to create extravagant and delicious desserts to end the New Year's menu. All three couples impress, and the judges have a difficult task in choosing the winners of The Great Christmas and New Year's Baking Contest 2019.
