Legendy se po těžké zprávě od Barryho Allena z Budoucnosti vydávají na Dikový západ, kde se opět setkají s Jonahem Hexem, který je překvapený, že Legendy vede Sara. Jonah má aktuálně potíže s gangsterem Quentinem Turnbullem a Legendy se rozhodnou pistolníkovi pomoci.

The Legends are still reeling from the news that their time travel-nemesis is a speedster when they are alerted to an Aberration in the Old West. When the Legends arrive they find their old friend Jonah Hex in trouble with his arch-nemesis, Quentin Turnbull. The team soon discovers that they need to stop Turnbull and his gang from conquering the West and branding it his own lawless territory. To Hex’s surprise, Sara is in charge and dispatches the team. Rory is ecstatic to be in the Wild West, but Sara makes Amaya work with him to keep him on task, which is easier said than done. Meanwhile, Nate, Ray and Jax try to infiltrate Turnball’s gang, but find themselves in a shootout leaving Nate’s confidence shaken.

Les Légendes sont encore sur le coup de la nouvelle que leur ennemi voyageant dans le temps est un speedster quand ils sont alertés par une aberration dans le vieux far-west. Quand les Légendes arrivent, ils trouvent leur vieil ami Jonah Hex en difficulté avec son ennemi intime, Quentin Turnbull. L'équipe découvre alors qu'ils doivent empêcher Turnbull et sa bande de conquérir l'Ouest et d'en faire leur propre territoire sans loi. À la surprise de Hex, Sara prend les commandes et dispatche l'équipe. Rory est excité d'être dans le Far West, mais Sara fait travailler Amaya avec lui pour le garder sur la tâche, ce qui est plus facile à dire qu'à faire. Pendant ce temps, Nate, Ray et Jax tentent d'infiltrer la bande de Turnbull mais se retrouvent dans une fusillade ébranlant la confiance de Nate.

Una scossa temporale datata 1876 conduce l'equipaggio della Nave Temporale a Liberty, in Colorado, all'epoca del selvaggio west. L'Aberrazione che potrebbe mutare il corso della storia stavolta riguarda un fuorilegge locale, un certo Quentin Turnbull, un modesto ladro di bestiame divenuto di recente e all'improvviso ricco e potente. Il motivo di questo suo repentino cambiamento sta nel fatto che Turnbull, grazie all'aiuto di un Pirata del Tempo, ha scoperto una miniera ricca di un minerale molto piu' prezioso dell'oro, un minerale proveniente forse da altri mondi, resistente e indistruttibile: la stella nana. L'estrazione di questo minerale dal sottosuolo lo ha reso potente in tutta la regione, al punto che sta progettando di creare uno Stato tutto suo indipendente dal governo federale. Per riparare l'Aberrazione gli uomini sotto il comando di Sara Lance si servono dell'aiuto di Jonah Hex che ha piu' di un conto in sospeso da regolare.
