Dr. Perkins tells "Clark" and "Monica" that they’ve“graduated” and can go home the next day. A masked Stefano takes Marlena on another nighttime journey to a golden tent, where he has two handmaidens pamper her and give her a bath. He reveals himself to Marlena, but she does not recognize him. John offers his assitance to Father Francis. Father Frances tells John he used to help him with his studies in mysticism. Both wonder why evil has hit Salem. Father Francis tells John "Why is Salem where the evil has come". Father Paul delivers some ancient scrolls to Father Francis. As soon as he opens the scrolls, the lights go out. Kristen calls him as this is happening and rushes over to the church, to find him collapsed on the floor. He warns her that “Satan is in Salem.” As John is leaving church, the desecrator destroys one of the statues.
