Shades of Gray

John und Kim arbeiten nun beide für Majestic und Bach. Sie planen, heimlich von innen die Kontrolle über die Organisation zu bekommen. Währenddessen will Majestic ein UFO durch Kornfeldkreise anlocken. Das Vorhaben mißlingt, und es bleibt nur ein verletzter Außeriridischer zurück, der spurlos in der Dunkelheit verschwindet. Bach setzt nun John und Kim mit ihren telepathischen Fähigkeiten auf die Spur des Aliens. Als sie ihn gefunden haben, bringen sie ihn in den Majestic-Stützpunkt, wo er einer Transformation unterzogen wird. Wie verwandelt verhält sich der Außerirdische plötzlich freundlich und tauscht mit Kim telepathisch Informationen aus. Dabei ist auch die dramatische Nachricht, daß Kim schwanger, und ihr Kind ein Außerirdischer ist...

Despite tensions between Loengard and Albano, Bach is determined to get a glyph decoder held by Juliet. Realizing that it's just the weapon that could help with a takeover of Majestic, Juliet agrees to let Bach use it to attract an alien ship. As Loengard, Sayers and Juliet work to replicate the crop circles suspected to denote landing sites, the young daughter of a widowed farmer slips into where they are working. And upon taking her home, John and Kim can only hope Monica Gresham hasn't seen too much. Then, as their ruse succeeds in attracting a ship, an attempt to capture it and the crew goes awry. So Bach gives John and Kim time to find a wounded Gray on their own. Seeking refuge at her father's farm, the alien enlists Monica's help by promising her a chance to see her dead mother. Sensing that the Gray is nearby, Kim and John set up surveillance. Finding Monica looking for another critical artifact left behind by the ship, they follow her home to where the Gray is hiding. De mystérieux cercles sont tracés dans un champ. Pour John, Kim et Juliet, ce sont les indices incontestables de l'atterrissage récent d'un vaisseau extraterrestre. Ils préparent un piège pour attirer les envahisseurs sue le site...

Bach riammette John al Majestic per controllare lui e Kim da vicino. John riesce a decifrare alcuni simboli incisi su un dispositivo alieno avuto da Juliet e propone al Majestic di riprodurre alcuni dei simboli sul grano per attirare in una trappola qualche essere grigio. L'operazione ha parziale successo.
