The Enemy Within

John und Kimberly fahren nach Kalifornien, um Johns Elternhaus zu besuchen. Zwischen John und seinem älteren Bruder Ray gab es schon immer Schwierigkeiten, und deshalb werden die beiden von ihm auch diesmal nicht besonders herzlich willkommen geheißen. John fällt auf, daß sich Ray sogar noch sonderbarer benimmt, und muß entdecken, daß sein Bruder ebenfalls zur Hive gehört...

Following the deaths of both President Kennedy and his assassin, Bach realizes that the alien hive has planted a spy inside Majestic - and all the evidence points to his trusted aide, Jim Steele. However, Steele escapes into the Majestic complex after a failed attempt to eject the alien ganglion from his body. Meanwhile, Loengard and Sayers return to John's childhood home in California, where an uneasy reception from John's older brother Ray revives long-standing tensions between them.

Loengard torna dalla sua famiglia con Sayers per procurarsi del denaro. I suoi lo accolgono con grande affetto, mentre il fratello maggiore Ray si mostra ostile. Tutti pensano che sia a causa di un episodio del passato, mentre in realtà Ray è stato impiantato ed ora gli è stato ordinato di uccidere il fratello.
