In the first episode Dani is in a big dilemma. She has broken her mum's favourite vase and, as she's already "borrowed" money from Max, is in desperate need of cash to sort out the gift.
Dani is left to look after the baby while her friends get go to the party of the century without her. Toby and Sam are surprised at how well they get on together without Dani, and the young actress starts to wonder whether three is becoming a crowd.
Dani's lost her lucky socks - and she needs them for this afternoon's audition. Will she find them in time. Meanwhile, Max starts winning loads of competitions - with the help of Ben

Sam sleeps over at Dani's so she can revise for an important exam in peace, but all Dani wants to do is practise for her Grease auditions. With Ben on sleepover to redress the boy/girl balance, everyone is getting restless. What do the aliens observing them from the skies make of it all?
Dani is being a "Halloween humbug" and refuses to take little brother Max and his friend, Ben, trick-or-treating. The two boys plot their revenge, roping in Toby and Sam to help trick Dani into becoming a Halloween believer, by pretending the house is haunted. A frightened Dani hires a ghost hunter to banish the ghouls but, when she realises she has been tricked, she turns the tables and spooks the others. The whole gang gets the shivers when they find out there is actually a ghost in the house.
Toby and Dani are set to enter the Utterly Go Dancing heats, but when Dani takes a fall, not only can she not remember the steps, she also can't even remember her own name – let alone her friends' names. Former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson makes a cameo appearance in the episode.
Toby's new pet-sitting service is under threat when his snake escapes. With Dani's fear of snakes and Max desperate to fund a record deal for Ben, there's enough screaming in the house to wake an irritable and jet-lagged Aunt Sheila.
Dani and Max are accused of wasting so much electricity because they leave things on all the time when they're not using them. Sam tries to help reduce their carbon footprint by turning off the lights, the televisions and the heating. However, Max is able to make a profit out of it by convincing Toby to buy his TV vouchers for a fiver. In the end, everybody contributes to Sam's scheme which ultimately convinces Dani to help the planet.
Dani and Sam set out to find Toby some male company. Toby is tired of being with the girls all the time but realises he has no male friends to bond with, so the girls set out to help him by holding an X Factor style audition.Toby angers Dani by stating girls can't choose a man's friends, so she sets out to prove him wrong and transforms herself into Dan.
Dani has been nominated for her first award and is busy choosing what to wear for her big night. She is also expecting a visit from her old acting class chum, Mo White. Dani appears to be the only person not to realise that Mo is super-duper famous, Former Blue Peter presenter Zoe Salmon guest stars as Molly White, who has made it big in the States.
Dani and Max are filled with panic and despair after being snowed in. It gradually dawns on the brother and sister that they will be forced to spend time in each other's company. Trapped, the bickering siblings make frantic calls to their friends for help. Things take a turn for the worse when the electricity, gas and telephone are all cut off and the baby needs to be fed.
Dani discovers that her house is up for sale. The aspiring young actress needs to scupper the plans laid by Max and his greedy mentor, estate agent Edgar Molloy, if she wants to keep the big bedroom and stay living close to her friends. Toby is also in a spot of bother after borrowing Sam's savings to set up a joke supply company, which is failing and yet to generate a sale.
Dani has moved house and she wants to celebrate in style with a big party for all her mates, but finds everything thrown into chaos when the oddly familiar DJ Jack causes mayhem. Meanwhile, Dani's brother Max plans to embarrass his big sister and ruin her party, just as soon as he can find out why his best friend Ben is under investigation by a secret agent.
Dani is rehearsing for a romantic role but cannot quite get into the part. When a hassled Sam has to leave her very demanding sister's wedding dress in Dani's care, Dani sees the perfect opportunity for some role play, so tries on the wedding dress. Dani and Jack then rip and stain the dress before Sam comes and causes it further damage.
Dani needs to raise her profile but Sam and Jack's attempts to help her create a perfect pop promo may not have the required effect. Meanwhile, Max is in need of cash and decides he has the perfect solution - appearing on top quiz Family Misfortunes. The first problem? Max will need his sister to appear with him. The second problem? Max and Dani find themselves up against top trivsters Erik and Erika, who haven't lost a quiz in 19 years.
Jack needs a new gimmick for his gigs. Despite Dani and Sam's doubts he decides to become a DJ-gician, a combination DJ and magician. All he needs now is an audience to test himself on. At the same time, Max has decided that the perfect way to get what he wants is to act like a five-year-old. The plan works beautifully until Max discovers an old toy and realises how much it means to him. Things come to a head when Jack decides the toy would be perfect for his sawing in half trick.
Sam and Jack are tired of Dani always ditching them for auditions and try-outs, so she promises them faithfully that she won't let them down again. When the perfect audition clashes with a date with her mates, Dani has to find a way out fast. Luckily she runs into Maggie, who could be her double. Maggie agrees to stand in for Dani but soon turns out to be more trouble than Dani could have imagined, especially when she starts advising Max and Ben on their project to build a moon rocket.
Sam has written a play. Dani thinks it is dreadful but doesn't want to hurt her best friend's feelings. Soon she finds herself agreeing to be the play's star. Desperate for some way to get out of her new role, Dani pretends to have broken her leg. A suspicious Sam decides to test her friend out. Meanwhile, Max has managed to con his friend Ben out of his lucky medallion but soon comes to think that - far from being lucky but its turns out to be cursed
Dani could finally be getting her big break. Top talent spotter Guy Flannel has heard her voice and thinks she might have the Z factor. But can Dani play along when Guy decides he wants her best friend Sam to be his new star? Meanwhile, Max finds himself forced to be nice to his friend after Ben's pet axolotl makes an early journey to salamander heaven.
Dani has never found dancing lessons easy, but things are made an awful lot worse when her pal Jack gets it into his head that her new dance teacher is a vampire. With brother Max working out a dastardly scheme for revenge involving super-itchy fleas and some ultra-cute kittens, things could be about to get still worse.
Dani has become the face of Noodle Puffs. Jack is delighted but Sam is appalled: Noodle Puffs are bad for your health and made from endangered dugong milk. Sam decides she must put an end to Dani's career in advertising and Max immediately volunteers to help out. Meanwhile, Ben has won a top DJ deck in a Noodle Puffs competition and Jack decides to give him lessons.
Thanks to a mix-up, Dani and Sam come to believe that Jack is a secret millionaire - it would explain his eccentric behaviour and shabby dress sense, after all. When someone claiming to collect money for Booties for Pooches latches onto Jack, Dani assumes she is a gold digger and decides to expose her. Meanwhile, Max and Ben are having a very sticky time of it as a plan to become sweet makers becomes too tasty to resist. Guest starring Madeline Duggan.
Dani is understudying the part of a witch in Macbeth: The Musical, which means Jack and Sam get the job of ensuring little brother Max does not cause chaos. Dani's most loyal viewers, the aliens, have got bored of never getting to meet their heroine and her pals and have decided to teleport down to Earth, where they soon find themselves embroiled in Max's scheme to win the 10,000 pound reward from the UFO Society.
It is Christmas Eve and Dani and the gang get to welcome old pal Toby back from university. Meanwhile, Dani's brother Max is getting into the yuletide spirit - and demanding loads of presents. But, that night, Max is visited by a series of ghosts, who do their best to teach him the real meaning of Christmas.
A very useless Jack, wants to run a marathon for Sport Relief. In addition of this, Dani and Sam try him to help him with his training and would like to sponsor him lots of their donation money. Meanwhile, Max and Ben have an idea by setting up a website for Jack's running marathon which the site gets lots of people giving money on the internet.
Dani is asked to go on a popular afternoon chat show, but worries that her life isn't interesting enough to talk about. Jack plans to create a 'behind the scenes' video of Dani to help the situation, but it proves to make matters worse. Meanwhile, Max wants Ben to run in the school elections, but makes it clear that Ben will be a real puppet - with Max pulling all the strings!
Max contrives to lock Dani, Sam and Jack in Dani's bedroom so they can sort out their differences, but it's all just a plot so he can take over the house and turn it into his very own theme park. When some local bullies arrive and start throwing their weight around, Max is forced to enlist the help of Dani and her friends to get rid of them.
An old DJ competitor of Jack's shows up to fix the plumbing at Dani's house, and Dani's lyric book of songs mysteriously goes missing. When Sam and Dani totally fall for his charm, Max and Ben must turn detectives to help Jack prove it's his old nemesis who's nicked the book and is not what he seems.
Dani is upset that she has no date for Valentine's Day, but Max is making loads of money delivering flowers and candy to love-struck clients via Ben dressed up as a cherub. While Sam is doing research on animal hormones, Dani breaks a bottle by mistake. The 'love potion' falls on Dani and makes her an object of accidental love for, of all people, Ben!
Dani receives sacks full of fan mail from McHurties Hospital which she has to reply to. When she hears that her biggest fan, Olivia, is coming for dinner, she decides to live up to the role of a celebrity. Meanwhile, Max and Ben dress up as superheroes and when this does not have any effect decide to become supervillains instead.
Jack has a new pen pal from Japan named Kashuro. Worried Jack isn't sufficiently cool, Dani sends him secret emails, making Jack sound amazing, but then Kashuro turns up out of the blue! How will Dani and Jack convince Kashuro that all Dani said was true? Maybe with the help of Jack's robot butler, Ben?
Ben and Dani pair up to compete with Jack and Ruby in a Bollywood dance competition. When Dani starts cheating to make sure they win, she discovers the meaning of good and bad karma. Meanwhile, Maisy will go to any lengths to get Ruby to take her to the launch of a new computer game, The Princess of Darkness.
Dani has to dogsit Zarina's pet pooch Truffles, and they inadvertently become an online sensation when the poodle starts to sing. But will animal lover Ruby scupper their new-found fame?
