Katherines Mordanschlag auf Bobby wird in letzter Minute verhindert. Sie wird verhaftet und gesteht auch den ersten Anschlag auf Bobby. Sie wird auf Kaution freigelassen und setzt sich ins Ausland ab. Bobby erlangt indessen sein Augenlicht wieder.

Bobby confronts deadly danger in his hospital room. Bobby's assailant is caught. J.R., Cliff, and Pam discover that Katherine is mentally disturbed. Lucy works as a waitress. Bobby's eyesight comes back and he's released from the hospital. Cliff romances Mandy Winger. Donna buys a small oil company but Ray is not too thrilled about it. Cliff suspects Katherine skipped bail. J.R. tries to explain to Bobby about the bugs in his office. Ray discovers Lucy's new job. J.R. fears he may have been underestimating Cliff. J.R. and Pamela have an unpleasant exchange about her dating so soon after Mark Graison's death. Jason Ewing's daughter Jamie arrives at Southfork.

Bobby se réveille et appelle au secours. La police arrête Katherine qui avoue que c'est elle qui a tiré dans le fauteuil et que c'est bien Bobby qu'elle voulait tuer, aveuglée par la jalousie. Cliff et Mandy sont amants. Lucy travaille comme serveuse dans la cafétéria. Bobby recouvre la vue. Cliff, venu récupérer sa caution, se heurte à Katherine, libérée elle aussi sous caution, qui lui crache sa haine au visage. Pam sanglote en voyant Bobby s'éloigner avec Jenna, à sa sortie de l'hopital. Donna met longtemps à avouer à Ray qu'elle a acheté une compagnie pétrolière. Bobby fait changer les téléphones des bureaux Ewing, malgré les explications de J.R.. Cliff et Pam apprennent que Katherine est partie en emportant ses affaires. Ray qui a découvert où travaille Lucy, promet de ne rien révéler à la famille. Jenna et Bobby reparlent de leur mariage. J.R. qui se rend compte que Bobby "est moins bête qu'avant", a besoin du réconfort de Sue Ellen. Une jeune fille se présente à Southfork : elle est la fille de Jason et s'appelle Jamie Ewing.
