Things Ain't Goin' Too Good at Southfork

Sue Ellen erwischt J.R. im Bett mit Holly Harwood. Sie fängt wieder an zu trinken - mit schwerwiegenden Folgen. Pam ist aus Frankreich zurückgekehrt. Prompt wird sie von ihren Geschwistern in einen Streit verwickelt.

Sue Ellen starts drinking again and Clayton finds her in his bed. Pamela comes back from France and questions Bobby about him and Katherine. Walt Driscoll disappears. Ellie finds Clayton with Sue Ellen. Katherine tells Pam there's nothing going on between her and Bobby. Cliff tells J.R. he will not let Bobby have the drill bit. Clayton tries to persuade Sue Ellen to talk to J.R. about the incident with Holly. A drunk Sue Ellen tells Ellie that Clayton is the only man that she ever loved. Cliff asks Pam to side with him on the drill bit. Sue Ellen angrily confronts J.R. about Holly. Mickey and Sue Ellen are involved in a car accident.

Ayant découvert Holly dans la chambre de J.R., Sue Ellen retourne à ses anciennes habitudes et demande l'aide de Clayton. Ellie est étonnée de trouver ce dernier en compagnie de la jeune femme. De retour aux Etats-Unis, Pamela a une confrontation avec Bobby. Deux choix s'offrent à elle : ou bien elle aide son mari dans son combat pour les Pétroles Ewing, ou bien elle lui refuse cette aide et Katherine le reprend sous sa coupe. Sue Ellen se dispute violemment avec J.R. et, complètement ivre, monte dans sa voiture. Mike s'installe à ses côtés pour l'empêcher de conduire mais, en sortant de Southfork, la voiture est heurtée par un autre véhicule.
