Während Bobby versucht, mit Katherine ins Geschäft zu kommen, macht sich J.R. auf die Reise nach Cuba. Sue Ellen geht Holly Harwoods Andeutungen über J.R.'s Ehebruch nach. Mickeys Mutter Lil kommt zu Besuch auf die Southfork-Ranch.

J.R. goes to Puerto Rica and learns he'll have to go to Cuba to claim his $40 million. Mark Graison and Pamela vacation in France. Aunt Lil misses Mickey and decides to come over from Kansas for a visit but Mickey is not thrilled. Sue Ellen is in denial over J.R.'s relationship with Holly, and questions Bobby about it. Bobby and Cliff clash over the Canadian deal and Pam's marriage to Bobby. Punk Anderson questions Clayton Farlow about his intentions toward Ellie. Donna also asks Ellie about her feelings for Clayton. Sue Ellen confronts Holly. Aunt Lil is worried that Mickey and Lucy could be getting serious about each other. At the Riviera, Pam tells Mark she needs time alone. Katherine offers Bobby her help with the Canadian deal but Cliff interferes. Sue Ellen and Clayton reconfirm their friendship. Aunt Lil tells Mickey that he and Lucy have nothing in common. J.R. gets arrested upon arrival in Cuba.

Avant de partir pour les Caraïbes, J.R. reçoit l'assurance que, s'il est capable de récupérer son argent et celui de Holly, celle-ci le récompensera de ses efforts. Sue Ellen traite alors Holly Harwood de menteuse. Punk interroge Clayton sur ses intentions vis-à-vis d'Ellie. Sur l'invitation de Donna et de Ray, la mère de Mickey Trotter se rend à Southfork et fait la connaissance de Lucy. Grâce à Katherine, Bobby obtient le prototype de la foreuse Toundra de la Compagnie Wentworth pour son gisement canadien, mais Cliff le lui refuse. A son arrivée à La Havane, J.R. est arrêté.
