Über Kristin erfährt J.R., dass Lucy eine Romanze mit Alan Beam hat. Er bietet Alan die Hochzeit mit Lucy an, unter der Bedingung, dass er mit ihr nach Chicago zieht. Alan willigt ein und macht Lucy einen Antrag. Aber die Millionenerbin hält sich bedeckt.
