The dealer makes demands to their supervisor, Sheriff Joe Jenkins, who assures the dealer that he doesn't negotiate with terrorists. Detective Rodriguez befriends Riverson and attempts to tell him something that could ruin Burt. Brad Fewins reprises his role as Detective Ricky Rodriquez in the conclusion of the two part episode, 'The Deal'.
Burt is contacted by mysterious evil drug lord Cletus Clarence who blackmails him into helping him plan his partners death. Later, Rick and Burt respond to a disturbing the peace call and find C.C. in the red light district. The crime team decides to take him in for questioning.

After being forcibly recruited into Joe's new vigilante task-force, Rick & Jim are assigned to recover several classified files from Joe's desk at the defunct sheriff building.
