It turns out that Percy's waistcoat was bought by Angie Freeman, but when Percy goes to demand it back, he's distressed to find he's too late: she has redecorated it for her own use in a giant sunflower motif. Joss is proving to be a first class con artist, and Curly is fed up after three consecutive nights on the setee, but Jack won't back him up. Then comes the unexpected offer: since Jenny has flown the coop, Angie is looking for someone to share, and asks Curly if he'd be interested. Alec has an interview with an unexpectedly female loan officer, Mrs Grice, who offers a loan of only half what he needs for his part of the club deal with Phil. He suggests to Bet that they give up the Rovers to raise the other half, and she eventually agrees. Steph and Des feud over the boat.
