Angela's delighted the police seem to have taken the letter seriously. Steve meets Louise on the Red Rec again. He fancies her and when she says she's going into town he sorts her out with a free taxi. Angela's convinced they'll soon be on witness protection and moving to a new address. She agrees to go for a farewell drink with the girls. Tracy's furious to see Steve with another woman. Ray tells Deirdre she should hurry up and marry Ken and mustn't hold back on his account. Tracy decides she's going to pull Nathan, a man she meets in the Weatherfield Arms, in an attempt to make Steve jealous.
