In itself, it is not a conventional episode of Consolevania using dadaist and obscure sequences and parodies in both the reviews and sketches. Game footage is recorded in the 'classic' style of filming the TV with a video camera. The alternate name The Black Episode is in reference to The Black Album, an album by Prince, which was pulled before release, and featured a similar catalogue number.
Reviews: NASCAR '08 (360), Two Worlds (360), NASCAR '08 (360) One-off Sketches/Features: Zack Eastwood's guide to dating, Top ten games of all time (the top three being Archlord, Lair, and NASCAR '08), Viewers' jokes ('Knock knock' 'Who's there?' 'Forzamo' 'Forzamo who?' 'Forzamo Torsport') Notes: This episode was supposedly produced by the Sponsors after Rab and Ryan were removed from the show; instead, it is presented by the erstwhile Ziggy Springsteen and Zack Eastwood, both of whom separately review NASCAR '08 during the show. Following the release of this episode, an announcement was posted on the Consolevania news page stating that the Sponsors had terminated their relationship with Ziggy Springsteen, and that all rights to Consolevania had reverted to the original owners.
Consolevania: Lost and Found was output to a videotape and strapped to a bin at the side of the River Clyde in Glasgow. The tape was definitely recovered. Lost and Found has never been distributed by the finder and is not currently available for download.
This episode starts out with "This episode of consolevania was found on a German filesharing website. the uploader is unknown", acting in a similar way to The Black Episode of Season 3. It marks the end of Consolevania, and reading more will reveal how the episode goes. It appears to be a pretty standard Consolevania episode - Consolevania Christmas Carol, a Christmas Special. The plot sees Kenny deciding there is no Christmas, with Ryan, Rab and Joanne (most likely) appearing as the ghosts of Christmas Specials Past, Christmas Present Time, and Christmas Specials Future (based on the Dickens "A Christmas Carol" story of course). In between these is "CONSOLEVANIA'S TOP TEN GAMES OF 2008 (in no particular order)", with the games listed in the Segments segment. However, while the Top 10 Games section starts normally, it later turns to Rab Florence voicing his concerns about continuing Consolevania and the decision to stop doing it as of this episode, marking it as the last episode produced by the team until they returned after an 8 year hiatus in 2017.

The fluff piece was shot over three days in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Somehow it was all flung together in time for a screening at an Odeon in Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Interactive Games Festival. The documentary was made for Scottish Enterprise to help promote the Scottish Games Industry abroad. With us determined not to spin the documentary in a particular direction, it emerged as a cry for help from struggling independents.
