Paul and Lisa’s dark and dreary home could double as an inner-city mole hole. Their lackluster interiors feature hideous granny furnishings, a sexless master bedroom, and a depressing basement playroom for their kids. And in spite of their best intentions, they haven’t done a thing since they moved in. After an ambush at the zoo (from high atop an elephant), Colin and Justin vow to transform the couple’s cave-house into a family-friendly, country-style manor oozing with elegance. And in addition to a Moroccan-inspired master bedroom, and whitewashed living and play spaces, the designers are determined to teach their charges about proper lighting, and revealing their home’s true potential. But can they convince Lisa there’s beauty in recycling her old furniture?
