Aizawa had to amputate Kuroda's arm at the scene and they were re-attaching it again, but with not much hope that he'll be able to use it again. At the same time, Kuroda's son has an accident and was brought to the hospital the heli wehere he had to undergo an operation. While doing so, they saw that the boy has a brain tumor. Shiraishi is struggling with the guilt she feels while Aizawa is worrying if amputation was the right decision.
爆発事故現場で処置中に事故が起き、黒田（柳葉敏郎）が白石（新垣結衣）をかばい重傷を負った。藍沢（山下智久）は命を優先し、黒田の腕を切断。その後、病院で腕の縫合手術が行われるが、医師としての復帰は不可能と分かる。白石は自分の不注意だと自らを責める。そんな折、空港の階段で転落事故が起きる。
