KHALISA (Alyssa Soebandono) is a girl from Bandung who can’t wait to start her days as a university student in Jakarta. Both her mom and dad, DEDDY FAJAR (Sultan Djorghi) and SARAH (Peggy Melati Sukma) are super protective towards their only child. Deddy and Sarah force her to live in a high end apartment. But Khalisa refuses. She prefers to just rent a room. Khalisa is finally allowed to choose her own place as long as she is protected by a bodyguard. Khalisa chooses JAKA (Galih Ginanjar) as her bodyguard. Jaka is considered a distant relative and is the most gullable. Sarah, still worried about her only daughter, comes to live in Jakarta. She is staying at her best friend’s house, MPOK IJAH (Ana C. Pinem). Sarah asks her help to get someone to watch her daughter in secret. Mpok Ijah chooses her handsome neighbour, BENNY (Dude Harlino). She only chooses Benny because she wants more opportunity to see him often. But it turns out, Benny misunderstand. He assumes it is VERA (Cut Meyriska), Mpok Ijah’s neice, is the one he is supposed to watch over. On her way to campus, Khalisa saves a lady ROSIDAH (Debby Sahertian), from a couple muggers. She then asks her son, who turns out to be Benny, to guard Khalisa. Benny who loves Rosidah very much, obliged. Benny is mezmerised by Khalisa’s beauty. He is sure she is his soulmate sent from God. Meanwhile, Vera who turns out to be in the same campus as Khalisa, always manages to stir up trouble. In fact, she feels threatend by Khalisa.
