Caroline and the Return of the Sudsy Guy (1)

Richard bekommt einen Platz in einer Gruppenausstellung der berühmten Regina Abbott Galerie. Dem exzentrischen Galeristen gefallen jedoch nur drei seiner Bilder, und so muss Richard über Nacht noch ein viertes malen. Unterdessen taucht Randy in Carolines Büro auf, weil er gerade beruflich in New York ist. Richard schöpft keinen Verdacht. Als Caroline wegen Randy seine Vernissage verpasst, merkt allerdings auch Richard, dass hier etwas faul ist.

Sparks fly between Caroline and Randy when he pays her a surprise visit in New York and they end up getting stuck together in a subway tunnel for two hours. Meanwhile, Richard gets his first real break as an artist when an eccentric gallery owner offers to exhibit his work -- but only if he can create another 'bleak' painting in time for the next day's show.
