This home-grown bluesy rock band is the only Reno-area band to be featured this season.

Kitten is an American indie rock band out of Los Angeles on the CARGO stage in Reno, Nevada.

    Dubbed "masters of soulful folk" by Paste, The Wood Brothers are an Americana and blues band, and consist of real brothers Chris (Upright Bass) and Oliver Wood (Acoustic and electric guitars), as well as multi-instrumentalist Jano Rix.

    Formed in 2006 in Los Angeles, the Crash Kings combine the rock & roll bombast of Muse with the piano-based pop of Ben Fold's Five. Using big bass fuzz to fill out the sound, a clavinet modified with a whammy bar, and the Beliveau's natural chemistry, things took off for the band after Tony had a chance meeting with producer Linda Perry, who signed them to her label, Custard Records.

Their 2012 release, Cabaret, mixed the magnetic energy of Moon Taxi's live show with musical ingenuity and thoughtful lyrics.

    Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas are a high-energy rock & roll band from Detroit. Their mercurial, often gritty sound reflects all of the Motor City's musical traditions as well as outside its geographical and multicultural boundaries. In its modern, driving mix are traces of Motown, vintage R&B, Latin grooves, raucous surf, neo-psych, roots rock, cinema jazz, and retro '60s girl group pop.
