Direct sequel to TV series, and retaining Roger Daltrey as Buddy's father (Terry Clark). The film is a dramatic comedy featuring a boy, Buddy Clark, who is determined to make it as a pop star, aided by his father Terry. He struggles with young love, estranged parents and the problems associated with making it in the music business.
