Dan Donnelly comforts a Leeds family who came home at teatime to discover their house had been ransacked and some of their property had been stolen. But the burglars overlooked many valuable items in favour of far less expensive things like computer games, leading the police to suspect that youngsters could be to blame. As the investigation gets underway, Dan helps Hannah and her husband Chris to make their home and their garden sheds more secure. Among the items installed is a security camera system which enables them to see what's going on in their home even when they're at work. Meanwhile, across the city, Keeley Donovan is with West Yorkshire Police as they carry out an initiative aimed at cracking down on similar burglaries. Operation Optimal uses clever technology to pinpoint where burglaries are likely to occur and then swamps the area with officers in uniform to try to stop would-be burglars in their tracks.
