The Auld Sage is a big naked Bigfoot. He has lost all his hair with age and despite the hallmark stupidity of his race, he is for some unknown reason, the wisest being on the tiny forest planet of Brackenwood. He is gentle, patient and kind and he loves nothing more than a long conversation with a friend or a stranger. Although Solitary, he loves the creatures of the wild and they love him. Here we find him wandering through nature singing out to the night.
Bingbong has always been entranced by natural beauty, music and little creatures. His age is unknown, but his mind is that of a 4 year old boy. However, he is far uglier than any 4 year old boy, and he in undeniably the stupidest thing on the tiny forest planet of Brackenwood. This fact is completely lost on him though. Everything he encounters is a potential best friend of favorite toy as he wanders about exploring and discovering his world, and trying his best to help where he can. In this little story, he is lured by the music of the Faeries, and, ignorant of the ancient warnings, he runs to join them in their dance. True to the tales of old, the malicious Faeries begin to weave their magic...
This is the story of the last of the dashkin. The people are all gone and in a world of innocent animals, the solitude, the sadness and bitterness have corrupted his view of life.
