Logger Vick buys a lottery ticket and hits the jackpot. He is ecstatic over the prospect of becoming a millionaire, but the phone call from his boss pressing for more timber kills his mood. Vick totally loses his patience, and hangs up on him. Vick is packing for the trip into town to cash in his lottery ticket, while the bears sneak into his house and eat his food. Vick catches them in the act. But with the important task at hand, he deices to let them get away with this one, figuring that he will have them pay once he gets rich. Briar is suspicious about Vick's sudden change of attitude, and decides to get to the bottom of it.
