Rocky má nádor a umírá. Brenda s Donnou se účastní demonstrace ochránců zvířat. Brenda se účastní jejich akce, při které zdemolují laboratoře a všichni jsou zatčeni. Kelly a Brandon zjistí, že Lucinda sváděla Dylana. Brandon se s ní rozchází. Dylan se dozví o polibku mezi Kelly a Brandonem. Dylan si to jde s Brandonem vyřídit, ale omylem místo něj praští Stevea. Der Condor kürt Kelly und Brandon zum neuen Traumpaar, was wiederum Dylan nicht passt. Bei einem Abendessen mit Lucinda und Brandon kommt es zum Eklat und als Kelly ihm auch noch den Kuss mit Brandon gesteht, ist Dylan nicht mehr zu halten. Donna und Brenda werden Mitglied in einer Tierschutzgruppe. Brenda steigert sich in die Arbeit hinein und macht sogar bei einem Einbruch ins Tierlabor mit.
Brenda and Donna attend an animal rights rally and are crestfallen when the university refuses to suspend animal testing. After Rocky dies of cancer, Brenda becomes involved with a small group of radicals. She serves as lookout when the group breaks into the university research building, and tries in vain to save Andrea's lab (which does not harm animals in its testing). Brenda is arrested. Kelly and Brandon are furious when Dylan refuses to fund Lucinda's film. He finally tells Kelly that Lucinda came on to him. Brandon breaks up with Lucinda, and Kelly confesses her kiss with Brandon. Dylan races over to the Walsh house to fight Brandon, but the tension is defused when he accidentally punches Steve. Donna y Brenda acuden a una manifestación de ayuda a los animales para que se deje de investigar con ellos, pero la Universidad se niega a suspender la investigación animal. Posteriormente Rocky muere de cáncer. Kelly y Brandon se enfadan con Dylan cuando éste se niega a financiar la película de Lucinda, y después le cuenta a Kelly que trató de seducirlo. Brandon rompe con Lucinda y Kelly confiesa su beso con el chico. Dylan va ha enfrentarse con Brandon, pero Steve los detiene. Brenda acude a visitar a algunas personas que estuvieron en la manifestación para tratar de ayudar en la medida de lo posible, y llega justo a tiempo, ya que estos se dirigen a la Universidad para liberar a los animales de los laboratorios, Brenda se reincopora a ellos, pero en el último momento trata de impedirlo sin que nadie le haga caso. La policía llega al lugar y Brenda es detenida.
