Men and Women are selected from over 10,000 applicants by the F1 commando team of which only 300 contestants make the grade and are placed on the grid.
High activity go-karting including lots of shunts, stunts, skids but no broken bones. Saloon Racing: No nonsense Crash Warnings and Crash trainings instil caution into the remaining 100 contestants.
The contestants find themselves on their own experiencing full-on track racing – but who will be the last 10?
The final 10 contestants experience the F3 car and unimaginable speeds, by the time they have been taught the computer systems and done a few laps the fear really begins to kick in – but how will the judges choose which two contestants will go through?
The contestants arrive at Silverstone, the track is buzzing with other test drivers and the commando team give the remaining 2 their final briefing before deciding who will actually race the F1 car.
The winner has spent the last 10 weeks being fast-tracked around Europe clocking up the races he/she needs to be able to race at this level. Someone will finally reach the podium and get to pop that bottle of bubbly.
