The Joker's Flying Saucer

Joker baut eine fliegende Untertasse, mit der er Gotham City in Angst und Schrecken versetzen will. Als verrückter Wissenschaftler getarnt, schleicht sich Alfred bei dem Verbrecher ein, um ihm das Handwerk zu legen.

The Joker is back in Gotham City, this time with his sights set on worldwide domination. He plants rumors of an invasion from outer space, then sets out to gather the Beryllium metal needed to build an actual flying saucer. Batman picks up on his scheme and sends Alfred to check up on a stash of the metal. But when Alfred is mistaken for a mad scientist by the Joker, he is hauled off to the villain’s lair along with Batgirl. The Dynamic Duo are on their way when a bomb planted by one of the Joker’s henchmen goes off, leaving them unconscious, and their Batcave cut off from the rest of the world.

Joker is terug in Gotham City, deze keer met zijn zinnen gezet op wereldwijde overheersing. Hij verspreidt geruchten over een invasie vanuit de ruimte en gaat vervolgens op zoek naar het Beryllium-metaal dat nodig is om een echte vliegende schotel te bouwen. Batman ontdekt zijn plan en stuurt Alfred naar de voorraad metaal. Maar wanneer Alfred door de Joker als een gekke wetenschapper wordt aangezien, wordt hij samen met Batgirl naar het schuilplaats van de schurk gebracht. Het Dynamic Duo is onderweg wanneer een bom, geplaatst door een van Jokers handlangers, afgaat en hen bewusteloos achterlaat, met Batcave afgesneden van de rest van de wereld.
