The Great Escape

Shame und Calamity Jane dringen in das Gothamer Opernhaus ein und berauben eine berühmte Sopranistin. Als Batman und Robin erscheinen, werden sie von Shames Leuten mit Angst-Gas besprüht und außer Gefecht gesetzt.

Shame escapes from prison, and together with Calamity Jan, goes to work on his newest caper. He leaves a cryptic clue for Batman, Robin, and Batgirl describing the first part of his scheme – the robbery of two opera singers. The Terrific Trio decipher his riddle and attempt to stop him, but when Shame breaks out his “fear gas,” the three are left quaking in their shoes.

Shame ontsnapt uit de gevangenis en gaat samen met Calamity Jan aan de slag met een nieuw plan. Hij laat een cryptische aanwijzing achter voor Batman, Robin en Batgirl waarmee het eerste deel van zijn plan beschreven wordt: de overval op twee operazangers. Het Terrific Trio ontcijfert zijn raadsel en probeert hem te stoppen, maar wanneer Shame zijn 'angstgas' loslaat, staan de drie te trillen in hun schoenen...
