With Jenkins' discretion, Ash is released. Upon finding out that Griffin has died, Ash tries to go to Golzine by himself. But Eiji insists that the reason Griffin died was because of him, and forcibly follows Ash.

Dino Golzine rivela ad Arthur che Banana Fish non è una persona, bensì una droga molto potente, e attira Ash al locale Club Cod per catturarlo. Per fortuna Max, evaso di prigione, e Ibe salvano Ash, Eiji e Shorter. Max decide di partire verso Capo Cod, il luogo natale di Ash e Griff, per indagare su Banana Fish.
