Hubert Duck is forced by his wife to take his son, Baby Huey, on his fishing trip. Huey causes all kinds of trouble and ends up catching a whale.
Baby Huey wants to play cowboys and Indians with the other kids, but they don't want him.
Baby Huey, the over-sized duck, is enrolled in kindergarten but his size and clumsy attempts to fit in causes such havoc that he is expelled by the teacher. His mother then hires a private tutor, who is led a life of misery due to Huey's efforts to do good that unintentionally backfire. But the tutor winds up in the ocean---unless Huey lived on a shark-invested lake---and and is about to become a shark meal but Huey saves his life...and gets his diploma as a reward from the grateful tutor.
The Fox poses as Santa Claus, and tries to make a meal out of Baby Huey on Christmas Eve.
On Father's Day, Huey volunteers to do all the work while his father relaxes. But his good intentions backfire, especially when he places a dirty windowpane over the swimming pool just as dear-old-Dad dives in!
