18-20 April, Western Australia. Western Desert Racers are once again proud to be hosting the opening round of the AORC for 2014. This year sees the exciting move for the marquee event in Western Australia to Kalgoorlie. The club is pleased to have the great support of local business, sporting clubs and volunteers. The opportunities that the new location provide to racers, sponsors, teams and spectators will undoubtedly outweigh the disappointment that we all felt with the move from “Smithy’s Place”. The Western Desert Racers club has been busy working on creating a new iconic event from the ground up, armed with the vast experience gained over 25 years. The proximity to a major population centre and all of the facilities that entails, gives the event and participants the ideal vehicle to showcase our great sport.
