Just as Jack is about to leave to see Carly, Julia walks in and reveals that she has been prescribed sleeping pills. She suggests that they try for another baby. Jack thinks they need to work through their grief over losing the first one. When she asks Jack to make love to her, he lies that he has to go to work. Hal signs the divorce papers when Barbara accuses him of putting the children in the middle of their marital problems. Simon returns home, surprised to find Katie still there. He informs her that he’s thinking of going back to Australia. Lucinda arrives, announces that Lily has gone away with her children and offers him another deal to leave town. She has a friend at the I.N.S. – Halliwell - who will call off the watchdogs and she will pay to have his marriage to Katie dissolved. Later, Halliwell stops by and Simon assures him that even though he and Katie lost their baby, he has no plans to leave her or Oakdale. Jack meets up with Carly, who asks him to help her with Hal. Suddenly, Parker is in a playground accident. Simon tells Katie that he’s only sticking around because he wants Lily to face him when she comes back from her trip. Katie promises that from now on she will behave. Craig hires Cass Winthrop to represent him regarding Flashdance. The men are interrupted when Carly calls to tell Craig about Parker. At the hospital, Hal informs Carly that this latest incident has convinced him to take Parker away from her. At that moment, Craig steps in and introduces Cass as Carly’s lawyer. Elsewhere, Julia uncaps her bottle of sleeping pills.
