I Wanna Hold Your Hand

The Beatles' arrival in America sends the country and the Pryor household into a frenzy, except for a concerned JJ, who receives word that Notre Dame has denied him a full scholarship. Determined to afford his son's college education, Jack seeks financial help from his successful and slightly distant older brother Ted despite Pete and Helen's concerns. Ted offers to pay for J.J. first year in South Bend in exchange for 50% ownership in the shop. Meanwhile, a confused Meg attempts to classify her relationship with Luke, employing Roxanne's ""perfect plan"", which is to simply have Luke introduce himself as Meg's boyfriend, to determine if the record store clerk is in fact her boyfriend. Patty's put in a tough position when she has to teach Will, the twleve apostles or not get to watch the Beattles on Ed Sullivan that night.

L'Amérique et les Proyr sont en émoi : les Beatles sont de passage aux Etats-Unis, provoquant une véritable frénésie ! JJ, lui, est inquiet, quand il apprend que Notre Dame refuse de lui accorder une bourse d'étude complète. Déterminé à payer les études de son fils, Jack demande une aide financière auprès de Ted, son frère aîné, aisé et distant, malgré les préoccupations de Peter et Helen. Pendant ce temps, Meg, troublée, essaie de comprendre sa relation avec Luke, et utilise le "plan parfait" de Roxanne, pour savoir s'il est vraiment son petit ami.

Mentre gli Stati Uniti sono in fermento per l'arrivo dei Beatles, Jack chiede a suo fratello Ted un aiuto economico per poter mandare il figlio JJ al college Notre Dame. In cambio, l'uomo pretende di diventare il proprietario di metà del negozio dei Pryor. Meg porta Luke ad "American Bandstand" nella speranza che il giovane si presenti a tutti come il suo fidanzato. Will fa fatica ad imparare i nomi dei dodici Apostoli.

Os Beatles chegam a América e todos na casa dos Pryor entram em êxtase, menos JJ que recebe a notícia que o Notre Dame recusou sua bolsa.
