In the early 50's, a discount retailer was born in a small suburb of New York. Over time, the company grew to become the 3rd largest discount retailer in the United States with well over 160 stores. However, it all came crashing down in the 1990's with their bankruptcy and collapse. Join me today as I find out how a beloved retailer in the North East United States grew from small roots, and eventually came crashing down after fighting against Walmart, Target, Ames, Bradley’s and more.
