Ein Drama bahnt sich im Haus der Camdens an, als Eric einen Joint findet. Ruthie scheidet aus, sie kann sich ja noch nicht mal alleine anziehen, aber wer von den anderen vier Kindern nimmt Drogen? Zwischen Gesprächen mit den Kindern gesteht Annie ihrem Mann, dass sie als Jugendliche auch Joints geraucht hat. Die Eltern nehmen schließlich Matt in die Mangel, der als Ältester der Hauptverdächtige ist.
Lucy hat einen neuen Freund. Beim Antrittsbesuch stellt sich heraus, dass Rod ganz anders ist, als Annie und Eric ihn sich vorgestellt haben. Er ist einsilbig, hat einen Schnäuzer und fährt Moped. Auch Marys Freund Wilson ist zu Besuch. Wegen des Joints im Haus will Eric von den Freunden seiner Töchter wissen, ob sie Drogen nehmen. Er bekommt unkonventionelle Antworten…
Eric accuses Matt of doing drugs after finding marijuana in the house and after Matt's friend Mitch askes him to hold his marijuana. Meanwhile, at the same time Eric finds the marijuana in the house, it leads Annie to a confession of own her about her experimentation. Also, Simon teaches Ruthie about the fine art of doing laundry, eventhough Ruthie is little too young. Lastly, Lucy introduces her new clothing of all black and her new boyfriend Rod to the family.
