「よお、久々だな、相棒」 仕事を終えた大也が帰路につくと、草むらから苦しそうな声。 声の主はスピードル、マシンワールドからやってきた炎神だ。 自身を相棒のもとへ届けてくれと頼むスピードル。 相棒の大切さを知る大也は、その依頼を快諾する。 しかしその矢先、ハシリヤンが出現。 急行する大也たちだったがキャノンボーグの改造が施された苦魔獣に苦戦を強いられてしまう。 と、そこに現れる一人の男。 その男はかつて世界を救った赤い戦士だった──。
