Stephen Mangan taught himself to play the guitar and the instrument retains a romantic appeal, but he hardly ever plays it. Here, the actor trains for two months to play and sing at the Cambridge Folk Festival. Along the way, Mangan's disposition slides mostly between wry and soulful, although he is suddenly starstruck by a masterclass from June Tabor.
