隣町の花火大会に行きたくて仕方がないリコ（与田祐希）だが、家族から次々に断られてしまう。そんな中、父・浩一郎（矢柴俊博）の登場で状況が一転！念願の花火大会に行けることに！しかし、心躍るリコと浩一郎にとある悲劇が…！リコの希望は儚く散り、花火大会には行けなくなってしまうのだった…。
落ち込んだリコは、気を紛らわせるために矢島模型店へと向かう。隣町への峠を越えられなかったリコが、プラモデルを通じて見た景色とは！？
Riko (Yoda Yuki) desperately wants to go to the fireworks festival in the next town, but her family members turn her down one after another. But then her father Koichiro (Yashiba Toshihiro) shows up and the situation changes! Riko is finally able to go to her dream fireworks festival! But then a tragedy strikes for Riko and Koichiro! Riko's hopes are quickly dashed, and she is unable to go to the fireworks festival... Feeling down, Riko heads to Yajima Model Shop to cheer herself up. What is the view that Riko, who was unable to get over the mountain pass to the next town, sees through her plastic models?
