仙台で仕事を終えた高宮進は帰京後、バレエを習う娘・咲のお迎えに行く予定だ。しかし居酒屋新幹線も手抜きはしない。新たな食との出会いを求めて老舗のデパ地下や駅中を散策。酒は東北の復興を願い、幾度もの挫折を乗り越え開業された秋保ワイナリーのクラフトシードル。お迎えに酒臭さは禁物だが、シードルならセーフ。爽やかな酸味とのど越しを堪能しつつ車窓を眺める進の胸に、ある感慨がこみあげてくるのだった。
After finishing work in Sendai, Susumu Takamiya plans to pick up his daughter Saki, who is learning ballet, when he returns to Tokyo. But the izakaya bullet train is not to be left out. He strolls around the station and the long-established department stores in search of new culinary encounters. I'll be drinking a craft cider from the Akiu Winery, which overcame many setbacks to open in the hope of reviving the Tohoku region. The smell of alcohol is a no-no, but cider is a safe bet. As Susumu gazed out of the train window, he was filled with emotion as he savoured the refreshing sourness and thirst-quenching taste.
