Ye Ji finds out where her mother is with Seung Min's help. She meets her but only ends up shedding tears of agony. Later, Yeon Ja brings a photo of her and Seung Min together and accuses her of having an affair. However, Ye Ji stands her ground but leaves the house with her passport.
