故事發生在煙雨胡同18號，身份神秘的“靈物”醫生白起（白宇飾）遊歷世間，千年來利用神秘植物“桃源鄉”的力量治愈“靈物”，使其化解執念回歸正常人類生活。陰差陽錯之下，白起與人類女孩林夏（鄭湫泓飾）相識並意外“同居”，兩人生活發生改變的同時，一段塵封千年的神秘往事也隨之浮出水面 。
