To help raise money for the millions of restaurant workers affected by COVID-19, Binging with Babish, Mythical Chef Josh, and Alvin are teaming up to cook the ultimate teriyaki burger using leftovers as part of the #LeftoversChallenge fundraiser. Take-out and delivery are the last lifelines for many restaurants and they are urging people to continue their support. That’s why we’re introducing the challenge: Order more take-out from a local favorite than you can eat in one meal, make the most creative dish possible out of the leftovers, post it on social media with #LeftoversChallenge, and challenge your friends to do the same. During the COVID-19 outbreak, the organization is distributing 50% of all funds received to direct restaurant worker relief, 25% to non-profits serving restaurant workers, and 25% to zero-interest loans for restaurants starting back up.
