Harris mediates a case involving an Indonesia maid , Ida , and her former employer Teresa . Several years ago , Ida inadvertently spilled some soapy water on the staircase landing of Teresa's house . In a fit of anger , Teresa pushed Ida and she fell down the stairs . Now , she cannot walk properly nor bare children . Teresa spent a year in jail for abusing her maid , but it is cold comfort for Ida . When Teresa gets out , Ida sues for compensation - she wants Teresa to pay , literally , for her condition . Nisa returns to Roberts and Fong and becomes the latest employee of the law firm to be taken in by Benjamin's charm . Wendy dislikes him even more .
