「人氣」劇集《一屋老友記》溫情洋溢，劇中點心師傅寶祿(劉江飾)，與四名子女「大寶」寶歡（歐陽震華飾）、「二寶」寶欣（滕麗名飾）、「三寶」寶愉（張頴康飾）及「細寶」寶怡（張彥博飾）關係疏離，以致臨終子女皆未能見上最後一面，成為終生遺憾！劇情寫實，賺人熱淚，眾演員也因劇集結緣，培養出如真正家人般深厚感情，觀眾也看得投入，要求開拍續集的呼聲甚高！ 為答謝觀眾支持，寶家五口再度重聚，再加上寶家新抱余花（呂慧儀飾）、親家奶奶嬌姐（盧宛茵飾），以及家寶家住所的原屋主、女鬼依蘭（羅蘭飾），齊齊去親子旅行。「一屋老友」偷得浮生結伴遊台灣，縱橫寶島北部、東部至南部，到訪台北、宜蘭、新竹、花蓮、墾丁各地吃喝玩樂熱點，嚐盡林林種種地道小吃、見識風格主題各異的民宿及度假村…… 兩代人拋開輩份隔膜盡情享樂，齊齊挑戰各種新奇刺激玩意，貫切「嘈嘈閉」精神，將歡樂氣氛傳遍寶島，藉以彌補劇中寶氏一家的遺憾，帶出「愛要及時」的溫馨主題！
