Arnoud en Polle starten hun reis in Colombia. Van Bogotá gaat het langs bergwegen richting de grens met Ecuador. Het eerste doel is de Colombiaanse stad Cali, waar ze bij de Zusters van de Voorzienigheid het eerste mobiele schooltje hopen te vinden. In het zuiden van Colombia is de FARC nog steeds actief. Arnoud en Polle rijden dwars door het conflictgebied Ecuador binnen. Daar stoppen ze in het dorp Otavalo, hofleverancier van alle 'indianen' die op de Antwerpse Meir hun producten verkopen.
Arnoud and Polle start their journey in Colombia. From Bogotá it goes along mountain roads towards the border with Ecuador. The first target is the Colombian city of Cali, where they hope to find the first mobile school at the Sisters of Providence. The FARC is still active in southern Colombia. Arnoud and Polle drive straight through the conflict zone into Ecuador. There they stop in the village of Otavalo, purveyor to all 'Indians' who sell their products on the Antwerp Meir.
